I started with the pretty Japanese paper which was originally intended for origami. I paired that with an soft pink embossed background using a fan patterned embossing folder. I then stamped and colored the geisha in red and coral tones to match the paper. I used a snowflake stamp to emulate sakura flowers falling from the top left corner. I embossed 'sending you' using white embossing powder on black card stock and trimmed it to resemble a banner. For the 'xoxo' I used thick enamel embossing power and embosses two layers on a black card stock. After assembling all the element on a rectangle panel, I used a corner puncher to round out the top corner. Before adhering the panel to the embossed background, I added some yellow satin ribbon to the bottom part and tucked the ribbon behind the embossed piece. I used some foam to help the panel stand out from the background. Finally, the embossed piece was added to a 4.25 x 5 inch white card.
